MCIS The Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) is a web-based program that offers a wide variety of career, educational and job information in one comprehensive, easy-to-use tool. MCIS includes: Learning styles, employability, interest and sill assessments and information on colleges plus program requirements for various occupations. Students can build a portfolio so they can plan and track progress toward their educational goals and create a personal learning plan. Students have their own username and passwords www.mncis.intocareers.org Minnesota Career Clusters & Pathways https://www.bridgesconnection.org/workplace-connection/clusters/ The Minnesota Career Fields, Clusters & Pathways chart graphically depicts the organizing framework of the foundation knowledge and skills for various career fields. After various surveys and tests, students can identify which career cluster area best matches the knowledge, skills and abilities. Career clusters represent a grouping of occupations and broad industries into a national classification of 16 clusters that are based upon common knowledge and skills. Career clusters include hundreds of occupations that may be grouped into pathways around which educational programs of study can be built. |
