Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program All admitted students to the program will automatically receive the Mayo Clinic Workforce Development Scholarship, which covers the full cost of tuition. For more information and to apply for this scholarship, click here. Nexus Ag Youth Scholarship At Nexus, we think it’s vital to invest in the future. And there is no better way to do that than through of the young people within the communities we serve. We hope that our scholarships will ease the cost of covering college expenses and allow students to focus on what really matters, doing well in their programs of study. If you are a graduating high school senior and are planning to attend a two – or four – year college, we encourage you to apply for the Nexus Ag Youth Scholarship worth $1,000. Deadline for application entry is March 15, 2025. The FFA Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is awarded to active Southland chapter members. Selection will be based on academic accomplishments, financial need and participation in school community activities. Click here for more information and application. Application deadline is Thursday, March 28, 2025. Maureen J. Schmit and Gary W. Stroup Scholarships This $2000 scholarship is awarded to two eligible applicants per year. Eligible applicants are high school seniors graduating from Southland High School of School District 500 in Adams, MN with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and who plans to attend a four year U.S. college or university or a two year U.S. college or trade school. Application Deadline – March 1, 2025. For more information and application click here Lineworker Scholarship Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to two applicants pursuing a post-secondary education in an electric lineworker program. To be eligible the applicant should be enrolling in a lineworker program or prove they are on a waiting list for the next open enrollment period. Preference will be given to FMEC members and residents of Freeborn and Mower County. Click here to find more information and the application. Olson Scholarship is for students entering fields related to mental health services, financial planning, real estate, banking, social work, and any other profession needed by those who go through family law transitions. To support students who are interested in these vocations and create greater awareness of these rewarding professions, Atticus Family Law, S. C. is honored and excited to offer the Missy L. McDonald's will match up to $10,000 in tuition costs. Accentra Credit Union is dedicated to helping our members pursue additional education by providing a $500 scholarship. Eligibility Applicants must be a member of Accentra Credit Union and have an account in his/her name. You are eligible for membership with Accentra Credit Union if you live, work, go to school, or worship in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele or Winona counties. Accentra Application Letter Accentra Application Form The OAKS The OAKS Nominator Form The OAKS Scholarship (Overcoming Adversity Keeping Strong) offers a $2,500 scholarship for a student who has overcome adversity to pursue an education. This scholarship requires a nomination letter by a teacher, counselor, coach, mentor, or family member. The OAKS Selection Committee will review these applications in June/July and students will then be notified. Please see attached form for pertinent information for the student before applying. Students applying for this scholarships must complete the online general application while nominators can email their letter of support to foundation@rctc.edu.
